Thanks to Mayor Menino, and the R.O.C.K.S. grant, The North End Music and Performing Arts Center will be hosting 8 FREE SUMMER MUSIC OUTDOOR WORKSHOPS.
Thursdays, starting 7/14 10:30 am, The Prado, North End.
Designed for children and young adults of all ages. Parents are welcome to join as well!
NEWMA is a community organization of about 537(and counting!) families, schools and daycare providers in the Boston North End, West and and Waterfront. We get together for fun, friends and play, organize field trips or just playmeets in the parks, and love company.
Communication is through the NEWMA google group.
If you have any thoughts, hear of any family-friendly events happening in the city that you want to share with other moms and dads, want to meet up with other moms or dads who have kids the same age as your, simply send a message to the NEWMA list and you will instantly be in touch with all our members!
The North End Playgroup is at the Nazzaro Community Center gymnasium and there are lots of gross motor toys, bikes, trucks, playkitchen, etc. Please leave strollers on the first floor.
Location: Nazzaro Center, Gym
When: Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays, 9:00 - 12:00 noon (runs with the Boston Public School year)
Cost: $10 per family/school year (cleaning supplies donation is appreciated)
